Birdwatching helping to boost tourism in Uganda



 

Uganda's wildlife tourism industry is best known for its gorillas, but the country is also home to around 11 percent of the world's bird population.

Many say the East African country could draw more tourists if the industry was better organised.
Some birdwatching enthusiasts have developed a phone application to help tourists identify the many bird species spotted in the nature parks.
